During the International School the following courses will be given:
Franco Flandoli (Università di Pisa):
Some examples of random dynamical systems
Barbara Gentz (Technische Universität Berlin):
Stochastic slow-fast systems
Peter E. Kloeden (Goethe Universität Frankfurt):
The effects of noise on nonlinear dynamical systems
Afternoon sessions will be devoted to round table discussions.
The Workshop will focus on the applications of the above themes to biological models arising from different areas, such as neurosciences, population dynamics, molecular biology.
A first list of speakers includes:
T. Aksenova (Université de Grenoble), R. Borisyuk (Plymouth University), V. Capasso (Università di Milano), A. Ferro (Università di Catania), M. Iannelli (Università di Trento), S. Maier-Paape ( Aachen University), K. Pakdaman (Inserm, Paris), A.E.P. Villa (Université de Grenoble).
Researchers wishing to present a contribution at the workshop are kindly requested to inform the organizing committee not later than January, 31st by writing to noise@dm.unito.it.
No registration fee is requested. Support for the living expenses of a limited number of participants younger than 32 may be requested not later than January, 31st.
For organizing reasons, it is absolutely necessary to confirm the participation by writing to noise@dm.unito.it not later than February, 29th.
