Funding and Collaborations

Unfortunately the serious cuts to research funding make grants rare and the success of projects has become a chance more than the result of a serious activity. In this moment I have a small grant from Torino University to support the activities of the Probability Group at Mathematics Department. In previous years many projects have been funded, allowing to develop researches that have been published on international journals and have allowed to maintain international collaborations.

The Project, presented in 2008, MATHEMATICAL MODELS AND COMPUTATION METHODS FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING AND TRANSMISSION IN NEURONAL SYSTEMS SUBJECT TO STOCHASTIC DYNAMICS has been funded by Italian Ministry for Education in the frame of MIUR Projects on January 2010.

Co-authorships of my papers reveal regular international activities. Existing international contact involve M. Thieullen (Paris VI), Petr Lansky (Academy of Sciences, Prague), M. Tamborrino (University of Copenhagen), C.E. Smith (NCSU, North Carolina), P. Greenwood (Vancouver University). A.E. P. Villa (Grenoble University), T. Turova (Lund University)
